Developing Future Media Makers

Participants: High schools students ages 14-18

Duration: 6 weeks during the summer

Aspiring journalists engage with media professionals who share their industry knowledge and guidance on how to have a successful career. Participants gain real-world experience by creating and publishing an online magazine and producing their own television show, podcasts, and public service announcements.

Classroom discussions, along with hands-on workshops, field trips and discussions with industry experts help students chart their paths and learn the art of storytelling to compellingly convey ideas. They also leave with a better understanding of ways to build relationships and seize internship opportunities in pursuit of their media careers.

This six-week program takes place during the summer from June 21st to August 1st. Click here to sign-up.
