Participants: Youth and young adults ages 16-24
Duration: 25 hours a week for 5 weeks, optional mornings and afternoon sessions
Done in partnership with one of Chicago’s top nursing schools, Nirvana Institute, registered and licensed practical nurses equip participants with the knowledge and necessary skills to provide essential healthcare services. The curriculum includes classroom instruction, hands-on clinical training, and supervised practical experience in a local hospital or healthcare facility.
Upon completion, participants receive a Certified Nurses Aid Certificate, a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate, 120 credits towards their state boards, an allowance for state boards and a stipend for completing this program. We are extremely proud to report that 98% of participants move on to get a job within 30 days after program completion.
