This year, the Love, Unity & Values (LUV) Institute celebrates its 10th anniversary. As we reflect on the past decade, we are reminded that we have so much to be thankful for. The beginning years are trying for young non-profits, and we consider ourselves graced by our committed supporters, passionate youth, and dedicated staff. Through teamwork and resilience, together we have launched LUV into its next chapter.
This special milestone is about so much more than a number. It is about an opportunity —an opportunity to reflect, give thanks, and push forward. An opportunity to grow.
That is why we have decided to honor LUV’s next trip around the sun with a theme: “LUV Grows.” Throughout the year, we will launch initiatives centered around expanding the LUV community and engaging with the folks who make our family so special.
We hope you will join us for the ride. In the meantime, we invite you to explore some of LUV’s most cherished memories below.
This was the first year of Wreaths of LUV. My, how time has gone by! We started as a small group of women making wreaths in Ms. Cosette’s mother’s garage.
